The Information Technology Director is responsible for analyzing and directing all IT related activities of the organization with supervisory responsibilities for all staff assigned to the IT department. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services for computer users throughout the organization through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination.

* Evaluate information technology solutions to support and meet the objectives based on research, testing and evaluation
* Perform needs assessment in relation to business requirements, designs solution, writes RFQ/RFP, perform vendor analysis and write recommendation for approval
* Direct implementation and execution of new/upgraded information systems via well-defined plans involving procedures, deadlines, and accountability
* Write, evaluate and implement IT policies and procedures for maximum efficiency and in accordance with applicable guidelines
* Structure, lead and develop IT staff for maximum effectiveness
* Ensure users are provided professional, courteous, and timely support and service by entire department
* Stay abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance
* Protect confidentiality within the organization
* Develop and maintain the Disaster Recovery Plan, Business Continuity Plan
* Select and conduct user training on an as-needed basis
* Perform all supervisory responsibilities associated with the IT department including employee related issues
* Forecast costs, equipment and personnel needs for projects and programs as required and related to IT operations
* Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment
* Stay abreast of the latest developments in MIS technology and remains highly competent at all levels of information technology while striving for enhanced user productivity through implementation of new software technology where applicable, and the implementation of policies that more effectively utilize MIS resources
* Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and to end-users
* Overall responsibility for the ordering, acquisition, inventorying, and disposition of hardware and software
* Serve as primary contact for outside technical vendors

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Business Management or equivalent combination of education, experience and certifications
* Ten (10) plus years hands on IT experience
* At least five (5) years IT business management/operations/project management experience
* Strong Windows server management experience
* Strong Network LAN/WAN management experience
* Strong MDM (mobile device management) experience
* Strong troubleshooting and complex problem solving skills
* Data center management experience
* Data security and compliance experience
* Demonstrated leadership experience
* Excellent time management skills

* Ability to translate business needs, objectives, and requirements into system configuration to achieve desired outcomes
* Demonstrate oral and written communication, organizational, technical and analytical skills
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to oversee and manage internal network support
* Ability to oversee and manage multiple applications
* Ability to lead a team
